The subscription

Good copy is the thing that’ll get done next week.

The brief has been sitting there for six weeks. Everyone knows roughly what the page should say. Someone will get to it. They always do, eventually, in the vocabulary of whoever wrote the last version, which came from the version before that, which came from a competitor’s website nobody admits they looked at. By the time it’s done, it could belong to anyone in the category.

Human Chapter is a monthly subscription. You add requests to a shared board in whatever order makes sense. They move through one at a time: first draft within 48 hours, two rounds of revisions, then the next one starts. No project proposals, no agency timelines, nothing sitting untouched for three weeks while someone finds a gap in their schedule.

Not sure yet? Send us one page, email, or product description that isn’t doing its job. We’ll find where the argument weakens and rewrite enough of it that you can see the difference. No charge, no card, nothing to cancel.

The process

How it works.

01

Submit your brief

You get a shared Trello board. Add requests in any priority order, as many as you like. We work through them one at a time.

02

We write

First draft within 48 hours. Our process starts with our AI directed by a detailed creative framework built on Ogilvy's research discipline, Schwartz's awareness model, Halbert's reader obsession. Then a human editorial pass finds the line that isn't earning its place, the word that's almost right, the moment the argument goes soft. What arrives in your inbox has been through our AI and a human editor. In that order, for a reason.

03

You review

Leave feedback directly on the Trello card, as specific as you like. Two rounds of revisions per piece, turned around within 48 hours.

04

Move to the next one

When you're happy, it moves to done and the next request comes off the queue. No reset, no warm-up call, no new brief about who you are and what you do. The work keeps moving.

What you can request

If it needs a brief, it’s in scope.

Landing pages. Homepage copy. Product descriptions. Brand stories. Email sequences. Campaign headlines. About pages. Onboarding copy. Sales pages. Positioning statements.

What’s not in scope: long-form editorial, PR, social media management, or anything that needs a byline rather than a brief.

The one request rule.

Most copy backlogs exist because everything feels urgent and nothing has a clear order. The one request rule is a discipline around how work gets finished, not a limit on what you can ask for. One thing done properly before the next one starts.

The queue is yours. Add to it, reprioritise it, clear it down. The only rule is one at a time.

One price. Nothing else to decide.

Questions.

What counts as one request?

One discrete piece of copy. A landing page is one request. A five-email welcome sequence is one request. A full website gets broken into individual pages and moves through the queue in order.

How do revisions work?

You leave feedback directly on the Trello card. We turn revisions around within 48 hours, two rounds included per piece.

What if I need to pause?

Drop us a message and we'll sort it. The board stays live, your queue stays intact.

Is this actually written by a human?

Every piece goes through a human editorial pass before it reaches you. Our process starts with our AI directed by a detailed creative framework, and the human editor's job is to find what our AI didn't. Judge it on the copy.

What do you need from me to start?

A brief. The more specific the better: who's reading it, what you need them to think or do, what you've tried before. If you're not sure how to brief copy, we'll send you a template when you sign up.

See the difference first.

Send us one page, email, or product description that isn’t doing its job. We’ll find where the argument weakens and rewrite enough of it that you can see what good looks like for your business. No charge, no card, nothing to cancel.
